Research Topics:
Theoretical and computational astrophysics. Our work is mostly based on numerical computation at various levels, especially on high-performance computing. Recent research areas focus on protoplanetary disks and planet formation, accretion disks, and plasma astrophysics. Particular topics include:
1. Gas dynamics, dust dynamics and chemical processes in protoplanetary disks
2. Planetesimal formation
3. Planet-disk interaction
4. Active galactic nuclei (AGN)
5. Black hole accretion disks
6. Cosmic-ray acceleration, transport, and feedback.
